MemoryTag is built around personal stories, photos, audio and memories. This page explains how the site should be used, what you should and should not upload, and how your information is handled.

MemoryTag is provided as a memory-sharing project, and no guarantee is made that the site will always be available.

Community Guidelines

A few considerate choices help MemoryTag remain welcoming and safe for everyone:

  • Share memories kindly and respectfully.
  • Be careful when naming other people.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive private information about yourself or others.
  • Do not upload private family photos unless you have permission.
  • Do not upload audio of someone else without permission.
  • Avoid posting exact addresses, phone numbers, financial information or other private details.
  • Remember that published memories may be visible to other visitors.
  • Choose categories and tags that help others find the memory.
  • Report or request removal if something should not be public.
