Help & How It Works
MemoryTag is designed to make sharing and finding memories feel simple. Here are the essentials to get you started.
How to create an account
Choose Register from the menu, create a username and password, then log in to begin saving your memories.
How to add a memory
Open Add Memory, give your story a title, write or speak your memory, add helpful details, then submit it for review.
How to add a photo
On the Add Memory page, choose a photo in the Photo and audio section. You can preview it before submitting.
How to add an audio recording
Upload an audio file with your memory if you would like to preserve a voice, recollection or recorded moment.
How to use voice dictation
Select Start Dictation while writing a memory, allow microphone access, speak clearly, then stop and edit the text before submitting.
How to browse and search memories
Visit Explore Memories to search stories and filter by category. Select Read Memory to see the full story and its details.
How to favourite memories
When you are logged in, open a published memory and choose Add to Favourites. Your saved stories appear on Favourite Memories.
What pending review means
New memories wait for an administrator to review them before they appear publicly. You can still see their status in My Memories.
What to do if you forget your password
Visit Forgot Password, enter your username or email address, and follow the secure reset link WordPress sends to your email.
